This hold-everything shelf is designed to show off your child's favorite things. Kids with many areas of interest will like how easy it is to change the display.
Materials
- Paint or wood finish
- Paint brush
- 3/4-inch-diameter dowel
- Small wooden shelf
- Ribbon
- Tacky glue
- Clothespins
- Scrapbook paper
Instructions
1. First, paint or finish the dowel and wooden shelf (we found ours at a craft store) and let them dry.
2. Drill a 3/4-inch hole through the center of each shelf bracket, then insert the dowel.
3. Loop varying lengths of ribbon around the dowel, gluing the overlapping ribbon to itself at the top.
4. For each ribbon length, cover one side of a clothespin with scrapbook paper. Glue the other side of the clothespin to the end of a hanging ribbon.
