Here's something to do with all of the rocks that seem to magically pop out of the garden each spring: turn them into a colorful, interactive art-and-building set for your kids.
Materials
- Rocks
- Outdoor acrylic paint
Instructions
- After they've gathered a small bucketful, have your young artists wash the rocks, then paint them with outdoor acrylic paint.
- When the paint is dry, kids can stack, sort, and design to their hearts' content. Our testers made pyramids, circles in the grass, paths, and more. A bonus: your kids can continue to add to the collection as more rocks turn up.
