A touch of liquid smoke (sold in large grocery stores) makes this specialty ketchup a perfect grilling sauce for steaks, burgers, and pork chops. It's also a flavorful topping for hot dogs and fries.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 to 2 drops liquid smoke (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, nutmeg, and liquid smoke, if you're using it, and mix well.
