What you'll need
- A variety of cupcake liners
- White yarn
- Bamboo skewer, knitting needle, or other sharp object
Helpful Tip:
You can find cupcake liners suited to any occasion, to create a unified color scheme.
Or, you could just use your leftover liners from parties in the past, for a multi-colored effect.
How to make it
1. With your skewer, poke a hole in the center of each cupcake liner.
2. I found it was easier to do several (but not too many) at the same time.
String white yarn through each cupcake liner, alternating colors, patterns, and which way the liners face.
The yarn keeps the liners from sliding so much, and will help keep them in place.
3. Continue adding the liners until you reach the length of garland you like.
You can leave 2-3 liners stuck together to help them keep their shape.
4. Display your garland by tying each end wherever you like.
5. Enjoy your garland -- and your party!
